Animation studios, animation developers and business support organizations which are interested in developing the export of animation in the region are invited to register for The Business of Animation: Understanding and expanding opportunities within the animation sector webinar on December 4th, 2020 at 10 am.

Ramsay McBean is the Head of Business Development at Mikros Animation a CGI animation studio, dedicated to feature films. Established in Paris, Montreal and London, Mikros Animation is part of Mikros Image, a company of the Technicolor group. Mikros most recent film, SpongeBob: Sponge on the Run was released on Netflix in November 2020 and currently in production are Paw Patrol: The Movie (Nickelodeon), Tiger Apprentice (Paramount), and Ozi.
Ramsay is also the Managing Director of Melwood Pictures UK, which is currently developing a Caribbean animated feature film, GECKO, with Octavio Rodriguez directing and Dame Floella Benjamin Executive Producing.
