The Caribbean Export Development Agency (Caribbean Export) in collaboration with exporTT Ltd. (the official export promotion agency of Trinidad and Tobago) is hosting a media launch for its SME Diagnostic Assessment Tool on February 6th 2018 at exporTT Ltd, 151B Charlotte Street, Port of Spain from 9am to 11am. This tool provides a standardised, expert-based methodology for accurately assessing SMEs and identifies the areas where development is required across four core areas. ExporTT is the first BSO in the region to adopt the SME Diagnostic Tool as the foundation for an export competitiveness programme.
The tool provides a standardised, expert-based methodology for accurately assessing SMEs and identifies the areas where development is required across four core areas;

II. Production
III. Access to Finance
IV. Marketing
The tool is intended for use by all Caribbean Export clients as a first step in prescribing interventions to improve their export competiveness. It is intended that the tool will be adopted by regional Business Support Organizations (BSOs) as part of their own export development and promotion approaches.
